Privacy Policy

Fieldnote Press is an individually-owned business based in India. This page explains what information we collect when you visit this site or buy a guide, and how it is used.

Information we collect

When you buy a guide, Razorpay's checkout collects your name, email address, and phone number so we can identify your order and deliver your guide. We receive this information from Razorpay after a successful payment. We do not ask for or collect any information beyond what is needed to fulfil your order.

Payment processing

All payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank account details — Razorpay processes and protects that information under its own privacy policy, which you can read on Razorpay's website.

How we deliver your guide

We use Postmark, an email delivery service, to send your purchased guide to the email address used at checkout. Postmark only processes your email address and the message content needed to deliver your order.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site, and Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. These tools may use cookies or similar technology, and in the case of a completed purchase, we share a securely hashed version of your email and phone number with Meta so it can match the purchase to an ad, as permitted by Meta's terms. We do not sell your information to anyone.

How we use your information

We use the information described above only to: deliver the guide you purchased, respond if you contact us, send order-related emails, and measure and improve our website and advertising. We do not send marketing email unless you have purchased from us or subscribed to Fieldnote Press Insider.

How long we keep your information

We keep order records for as long as needed to handle delivery issues, support questions, and our legal and accounting obligations.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing guide@primerhq.in. Note that we may need to keep basic order records for accounting purposes even after a deletion request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
